Meet Kenia!

Kenia was born in beautiful Acapulco, México. She lived on her family’s coconut farm during her upbringing. When Kenia migrated to the United States, she studied culinary arts in Long Beach, California. Working at a private event catering company gave her the opportunity to work on events of all sizes with great recognition and important clients. Kenia’s passion is found in the elaboration of quality dishes with fresh and organic ingredients. As an official Soil Advocate, Kenia makes sure that catering healthy and fresh food is at the core of Urban Espresso.

 

Meet Scott!

Scott was born and raised in Long Beach, California. After graduating from the University of Irvine, he found his passion for managing events. His love for growing his own food comes from watching his parents and grandparents work devotedly on their farming properties. The passion for creating unforgettable events led to Scott teaming up with Kenia in 2015 to launch Urban Espresso. They now oversee a mobile espresso catering company with talented baristas, specialized espresso bars, and professional service.

 
 

A Dream

Urban Espresso was created by two hardworking individuals who decided to combine their talents and skills. Scott and Kenia realized that they were tired of waking up for work at 5am, working for 8 hours, and being tired. So, they decided to combine her skills as a chef and his barista skills to follow their dream.

 
 

They wake up at 3am, work 18 hours, but are now happily following their dream.
